Join us in a little experiment . . .
How about sharing your wit and wisdom in Project Show a Leg?  GREAT!
SO, HERE’S THE EXPERIMENT:

We’re trying to increase our name recognition and wake up more people to the fact that we’re one of the most experience-filled cruising clubs in the PNW.
That’s why we’re calling it Project Show a Leg (which is pirate for wake up).
We’ll do this by submitting monthly, short, witty, and wise articles to boating magazines across North America.

We’ll do this for free, but with the caveat that our website be listed at the end of the article. (Magazines love filler articles.)
The two fun parts for you: it’s your chance to see your name in a boating magazine and you’ll be doing a service that benefits your fellow boaters!

Check out the questions in the flyers!!
We can’t wait to read your responses!!
AND HERE’S YOUR PART:

Each month we’ll ask you some questions.  Only answer the questions you want.
Please submit all responses via email (joannewilshin@gmail.com).

Please use the question form that came with your current Poseidon or use the one found on the Members Only page of our web-site, bottom left.

Show your wit and wisdom. The more interesting your responses, the more likely they’ll be in articles we submit.
This should be fun and stimulating to answer. You’re sharing your specific knowledge with boaters around the country who dream of cruising in the PNW.

On the question sheet, you’ll be asked if we can include your name and/or boat name.
This is open to all members.
HOW DO WE CHOOSE WHICH RESPONSES TO PUT IN EACH ARTICLE?

First, the responses that find their way into the articles will be chosen by a group of four people: one sailor, one power boater, one relatively-new-to-PNW boating, and one veteran PNW distance cruiser.

This way we include a wide perspective. Also, this group will change each month to provide even more perspective.

Second, all the responses will be given to the above foursome without any indication of who wrote what.  This way, each response is judged on its stand-alone merit.

Find your Project Show a Leg questions  with the other flyers.
Our purpose is to
- Encourage knowledge, use, and appreciation of the marine recreational advantages of the PNW.
- Engage in social and recreational activities.
- Promote safety at sea and good seamanship
